Default Please help
n2o-line1.jpg

I finally got the install figured out only to find a constant leak out of the hose where the n2o line connects to the nmu.... Turns out the hose is defective (see pic)....

Zex- can you please send me another hose. I have not been able to get through on the phones (just rings and rings- multiple tries during regular business hours). I just ordered this kit a couple weeks ago. If you need more info from me please give me an email address so I can send whatever info you need.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm sure you guys are busy, but can I please get some assistance with this. I'd much rather give you an opportunity to resolve this issue rather than buying a new line myself then ripping you guys all over multiple forums and creating bad word of mouth advertising and steering people toward your competitors.

You can shoot me a pm, email, or response on this thread so that the posts on the boards are positive word of mouth- mainly that you guys fixed a problem quickly and efficiently with good customer service.

Thanks again for your help.

I've been reading through this board for a few days now and I'm disappointed on the lack of help you get on this board. There are a ton of un answered posts and un resolved problems. I ordered a ez efi kit and with the miss handling of my order (not by these guys) and the poor customer service I read about and the un resolved issues... I think I might just return it and look for something diffrent...

Justin can you give me the address the kit was sent too and where you ordered the kit from please? We can get you another line sent out that will not be a problem. Is this the Nitrous line going to the Nozzle from the NMU or is the one coming from the Bottle to the NMU? I am sorry that it takes a little time for us to reply. We are not here on sundays, sometimes I can get right on a question the same day and sometimes it will take me a couple days. It just depends on what all I have going on at that time. I would be more than happy to help you though.

Dave if you have issues to bring up about the forum or the company then you should really do it in your own thread, so we can avoid cluttering up someone elses help thread.

I looked through the forum, at least the Comp and Zex parts of it because that is the part I monitor, and did not really see any thing we had not responded too. This is not to suggest we are perfect and with the job of answering every question that pops up on here sometimes we do miss something. I also checked all your post and it seems that you have gotten a reply everytime you asked something? If that is not correct please let me know.

The forum is not meant to give you an instant response. For that you need to call in to the tech line and speak with us directly. We try to insure nothing on here goes past a couple days though. Also this is a help forum and everyone does not always come back on to post after they get there issues figured out especially if you were refering to the FAST section. We often end up speaking with someone over the phone or e-mail and when they get it worked out it may not show up on the board.

I also posted this in the FAST forum.

David_H
This is a Help/Support forum, so guys use it when they need Help and Support.

Many times when a person gets the information they need, they quit posting. Or we contact the customer via another outlet like email or telephone to get more detailed information about the problem and try to help that way. The forum is not the only way for the customer to contact us. You can even Twitter or Facebook a question into us!

This system is the first introduction to EFI for many customers, and they have never had this many wires in their hotrod before. So this is a crash course for them in wire routing, checking voltages with a voltmeter, plumbing a vacuum-referenced fuel pressure regulator with a return line, setting the throttle blades for idle by looking at an IAC target number, etc..

Many times we can fix problems over the phone simply by talking the customer through a certain procedure.

To date we have sold over 1200 EZ EFI units. There have been only a handful of people on the forum that have had legitimate product defects. The rest just needed some help. For every 1 person that has some kind of problem, there are many, many more that are running great.

@JustinH
Sorry to clutter up your thread.

Can you please pm me with an email address where I can email you my address without posting it? (this forum won't let me send pm's)

This is the line going from the bottle to the nmu and I purchased the kit from Maryland Speed.

Thanks again for your help!

Easy guys.... I Know your doing your best and realize it might take you a day or so to reply for whatever the reason thats not the point....

I guess its more my fault as I don't understand how you guys wouldn't reply to these threads that were answered via pm or techline or however and say this problem was solved via tech support and the fix was etc. etc...... but instead there are a bunch of started threads that look like they just never got answered..... my bad I guess
