Default Powerglide has no forward gear HELP
Hi,

I have a powerglide that has all new parts that I cracked the case from bad motor mount. So I transfered all parts to new case. Now the trans doesn't go in any gear. So I take out the rossler trans brake and put a ATI brake in does the samething. So I take out the ATI brake and put TCI brake in now the car only has reverse and when I put it in forward gear the tires move backwards a little.I would think its the valve body I can't see anything to go bad in the valve body. Also the rossler has a metal plate instead of paper gasket I can't see it being the gasket. Any information would be great.

Thanks

Dounissg,
When you put our valve body in did you drill the case like in the instructions? also did you make sure to use our separator plate and gaskets? For quicker response feel free to call or email.

thanks

Russ

Hi Russ,

Thanks for your help. The pin must have popped out of the manual valve. I had to bend it a little so the pin would be in further in the valve. Anyways trans is working great
