Pro Action/Pro Topline Heads?

I just recently bought a set of Pro Action by Pro Topline heads. Well at least thats what the box says. They were advertised as 220 runners 72cc 2.02 intake 1.60 valves and straight plug. When I received them they actually say RHS in big letters on the front of the head and they actually have 2.05 intakes. Nowheres in the valve spring part of the head does it say pro topline like the older pro topline heads did. I think it just said PRO. Can anyone shed any light on these heads? Are they Pro Topline or RHS kinda confused.

Pro Top Line is no longer in business and was bought out by RHS Cylinder heads. The RHS heads are very similar. The RHS is a slightly improved and better quality product. The heads you have are the RHS castings.

Ok thanks I didnt know if they were still the old design and RHS just put that on the front of the head, after they took over, to label it theirs even know its protoplines old design. But if you say it is in fact the same design as the RHS head than ill believe you. I just wasnt sure why it was a 2.05 valve when rhs advertises 2.02.
On another note how far can I mill these heads. I plan on machining my intake to match but I was thinking about taking off .035-.042 on the heads. Can I do that and still be safe? Its a N/A motor.

66chevyiiss327, what is the exact logo and part number on your head castings? Some of the older RHS heads were actually Pro Topline castings, RHS was stamped in the front of the casting to signify that it came from us after it was checked for defects. As far as the valve size issue, ALL of the Pro Topline / RHS castings are machined for a 2.02 valve on the 180cc, 200cc and 220cc heads. The 235cc heads were machined for a 2.08 valve. All of the exhaust valves are machined for a 1.6 valve. When the valve job is done, the valve should "lap in" to the seat and that margin should be at the widest point (outside edge) of the valve to ensure the highest air flow. Alot of customers mistake this to be machined for a 2.05 valve but it is not. Some customer use a 2.05 valve because they dont want the margin at the edge, but that will sacrifice some air flow. thanks

On the front of the cylinder head it says RHS in thin lines approx in the center maybe an inch tall and 1.5" wide RHS then on the lower left it says 223200020 and on the lower right it says 3607405031. Everyone says the pro topline heads are junk and to stay away from them but these seem to be checking out fine. Back to the valve size i took some machinest paint and painted the exhaust valve seat and put the 1.60 valve in there and turned it. I could clearly see the 1.60 valve seat. I then did the same on the intake valve and put a 2.05 valve in it and turned it and got a very fine line around it so I can see your point there. I couldnt get a nice clean looking valve seat at all so i assuming thats because they are a 2.02 seat like you said.
