Default ProAction Chamber Shape?
Does the Pro Action heads use the the vortec chamber design or something similar?

What kind of guidance can you give about compression ratio(dynamic or static) with pump gasoline 89 octane, deck clearance=.040 and the Pro Action-72cc head? Also the car weighs only 1800 lbs and the torque converter will be changed to a high stall appropriate for the new roller camshaft.

Do these heads need a symmetrical lobe design camshaft or does the exhaust need a little extra help?

Indycars I apologize nobody has answered your question yet. The Pro Action Heads do not use a vortec style chamber. It is a chamber or our own design that utilizes our clean cast technology. As far as the camshaft goes it is somewhat dependant on the rest of the application but normally with pretty much any SBC head, to include the RHS, you will want a split duration camshaft. I am not sure what your asking concerning dynamic and static compression. Do you just want to know where you need to be roughly to run 89oct gasoline?

Pro Action cylinder heads by RHS deliver exceptional performance gains for all small block Chevy owners. They come available in both aluminum and cast iron and in a wide variety of intake runner and combustion chamber volumes. Pro Action small block Chevrolet cylinder heads feature straight or angled spark plug configurations, accept valve spring diameters up to 1.550 in., and work with all popular small block Chevy valvetrain components.
