Default Remote ecu data logger problem
I recently picked up an old school remote ecu data logger that I am using with a classic FAST setup. The logger is constantly showing a communication error with the red light on. I have yet to see it go out. I've gone over the instructions several times (very simple to setup), had the guy I bought it from come over and go over the setup instructions in case I might have been missing something. Still no luck. The wiring is very simple and I had an extra wiring harness that I hooked up and no luck with it as well. I am able to "configure" the logger per the instructions but it doesn't seem to connect with the FAST ecu. When I flip the arm/trigger switch to ground the red led is still on solid along with the green. I can connect the laptop to the logger and the logger has no file for me to download. I sent the logger in and was told by guys in tech that they could not duplicate the problem. It was sent back to me. I just got it back on Thursday and am still having the same issues with it. I feel that I have exhausted my options for troubleshooting was hoping someone on here may have a suggestion to try. Any help is appreciated.

Scott

Scott I think you are just missing a couple of steps. I am teaching an EFI class today but you can call me after 6pm PST.

Brian, I tried some of the things we spoke about. Still no luck. Re-wired grounds for trigger, checked wires for continuity, wired grounds directly to battery. Also, turned off auto-trigger and set it up so it would start logging when the switch was flipped. I appreciate you taking your time to help me out.
