Resistor rating

I have the 6.1 hemi kit and the tps wire provided in the kit broke. What is the rating on the the resistor attached to the tps wire. And does the resistor have to be exactly what yall call for or can it just be close?

The resistor is 82kohm. The part number on it is ns9600res. It will need to be exactly this resistance to work. They can be found at a local Radio Shack or smoething similar or ordered through us direct.

similar question, i have a 2005 mustang GT with the 4.6 3v v8, bought the kit used and it doesn't have a resistor. what resistor will I need? and how big? (wattage)

Your kit requires the same resistor as above.
