Thumbs up
You guys did a great job with this block. Do you see any down sides to using this block in offshore boats?

Default RHS Question Response
Thank you for your question concerning the new RHS LS Race Block.

For offshore marine use, we would recommend closed loop cooling, rather than sea water. Aluminum on offshore boats is prone to electrolysis erosion – so as with any aluminum block, it needs to be addressed properly.

The new RHS LS Race Block has provisions for both motor plate mount, and side engine mounts. In any marine application, it is always important that careful consideration be given to a good secure engine mounting system that is designed specifically to handle the prolonged vibrations and harmonics.

Question
Hi guys,

I've ordered one of these new blocks (#0003 by all accounts) and looking to build a 502 ci motor with it. I am looking to try to make about 900 hp in NA form. Are you guys going to come out with some killer heads for this thing???? If not what would you guys recommend - the canted heads from ET perhaps or the new LSR heads from Edelbrock??? Would be great to know your thoughts.

Cheers,

Leatherman

Leatherman right now we have some things in the works but nothing coming real soon. There are several companys making high flowing heads to work in the application your talking about. I would contact one of them and see what they have to offer.
