The LS Race Block Head Gasket from RHS® is engineered specifically for the unique design of the RHS®
LS Race Block to provide optimized sealing of the combustion chamber and proper sealing of coolant passages and oil drainbacks.
The RHS® precision MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) head gasket utilizes an exact die structure for a perfect fit with the RHS® LS Race Block’s unique cast aluminum construction and Siamese cast bore walls with press-in, spun cast iron liners. The RHS® racing-based, press-in liners are not the same as factory OEM block cast-in liners from a coolant sealing strategy. The RHS® head gasket is engineered specifically for press-in liner designs, ensuring proper coolant management on the deck face. They are comprised of three layers of full hard embossed stainless steel with a high temperature FKM rubber coating and a stainless steel shim layer that features a laser welded stopper layer for the ultimate in combustion sealing.
Don’t accept inferior MLS imitations or general application MLS gaskets. The RHS® LS Race Block Head Gasket is engineered specifically for high horsepower, high boost and nitrous applications, as well as basic naturally aspirated applications. Available for both large (4.165″) and small (4.125″) bore RHS® blocks, these gaskets optimize sealing in everything from street engines to radical 2,000+ horsepower applications.
