RHS Block, 501 CID, 4.600" stroke, 4.165" bore - on the dyno at Wegner Motorsports - first pull, reporting 700 ft-lbs of torque!

What's the story guys

..... truthfully I thought RHS would be providing regular updates regarding the delays to customers who have laid down their deposits from the beginning of the year for these LS race blocks. Your guys said they would be delivered by April 09 at the PRI show last year...... and here we are in September still without a block....... I wonder whether you guys should be looking to offer a few freebies for these delays to those that have 'invested' in this project.....

We appologize for the delay, what is the part number on the block that you have ordered, and who did you order it through? If you will reply this info back, i will get you an accurate due date.

Hi RHSTECH1,

Nice to hear from you. I purchased the block through Trent Goodwin at Comp Cams back on 24th Feb 09. Part number is 54900 LS Block Package Tall 9.75" Deck, 4.165" Bore.

Thanks for getting back to me! The 54900 is on track to be in stock by 10-7-09. Just check with the at that time, and i will let you know when it ships.

Thanks RHSTECH1,just very keen to get on with my build as the delays are just holding everything up and it seems like it is the next month, then the next month and on and on. Still it sounds as though they are not too far away at all now. So good stuff!!!!!

What shops have had any of the prototypes to test actual builds yet????

Hi RHSTECH1,

I see the blocks are now being advertised by other companies for $500 cheaper!!!!!! Such as at Vengeance racing (can't post the link as I haven't posted 10 times yet)

Are you going to price match these for us guys that paid the deposit back at the beginning of the year directly to you and have been waiting patiently....... I certainly hope so!!!
