spring seats

I recently purchased a xe274 cam+ lifters+924 springs,for a 460 Ford.Your catalog says the head needs machining What are the dimensions required for the spring seat and valveguide? Would I also need a Comp spring locater? [stock dove heads with rocker stud conversion]
