Thanks again for the info. I found the TH400 trans you were talking about. I don't mean to be critical, but as a TCI customer who has literally spent thousands of dollars on TCI's products, I want to point out to you that I found this included on the listing of this PRO-X TH400 transmission that you mentioned:

[B]"[• Reduces internal friction & heat build-up (while promoting clutch lock-up) for increased shift quality & life

• Premium fluids developed with ultra-pure base oils resist viscosity breakdown & extend fluid change intervals

• Contains friction eliminating, anti-foaming & extreme heat additives; no other additives or treatments needed

• Compatible with other brands of ATF (synthetic & conventional); simply pour in Max Shift™ for an instant upgrade

• Exceeds Mercon® & Dexron® performance specifications – check each formula for exact specs

• Application specific formulas include Street Performance, Race, Circle Track & Full Synthetic
"/B]

Here's where you'll find it....

So part of the description for this transmission on the TCI webpage is clearly NOT about the transmission at all, but about some trans fluid that you happen to sell. You might want to forward this info to whoever it is that sets up the webpage. As a perspective repeat customer of yours, I have to tell you that alot of us drag racers shop via the net FIRST before we make phone calls, and the info being all wrong or not applicable to that transmission where it's listed on the TCI page isn't impressive. Thanks for taking the time to post that part # for me.

Thanks for finding the error. And we are grateful that real racers like you actually ask us questions instead of shooting from the hip and just impulse buying what they or their buddies think will work. As I stated in the last post, you may notice that we are changing and updating our website, so unfortunately there will be a few mistakes. But we are constantly going thru it to fix any that are there. Once again we apologize for any inconveniences you may have experienced due to our revamping of the site.

The part number is 223600. I believe it's also listed in one of the responses on page one. It is an input shaft and drum assembly due to the fact the splines on the forward drum end are different. It cannot be used with a stock drum.

Thanks!

OK, thankyou for your reply. I was a little hasty in my explanation and questioning. You handled this like a real pro. Please accept my apology for jumping the gun like that. I've edited my last post. I was alittle confused about that shaft part # due to the chart on the TCI website being wrong about it being described as the "vaccu melt 300" shaft instead it being called the VASCO 300. But youre correct, that already WAS explained earlier. Sorry guys, my bad. BTW, that's one serious torque converter you guys sold me. I'm very pleased with it.
