It is possible that the factory TPS can be used with our TCU. Some of the factory TPS's are strong enough to control 2 things. You need to contact GM to find out which wire is the signal wire on your factory harness. Then cut our signal wire on the TPS plug and splice it into your factory signal wire. Our signal wire color is Yellow/Black. If your factory TPS can not operate2 things then you will have to purchase and aftermarket one. We offer an aftermarket TPS, it is part#377401.

Thanks TCI for your quick response, I was kinda hoping someone else had done the ground work and save me time testing alternatives rather going down the route of swapping throttle bodies to a manual configuration. Hav'nt given up yet shall explore both the TB and throttle sensors to c if I can find a good 5v ref and signal output.
If anyone else can shed light ill be grateful.
Thx Nigel

P.S. can I ground your Terminal A (BLK) – TPS ground to chassis?
