Default TCI® Machined Flexplates For Ford Modular Engines
New SFI 29.1 approved, machined flexplates offer bullet-proof strength and reliability for high performance Ford Modular 4.6L/5.4L engines with 6- and 8-bolt crankshafts

For the Ford Modular enthusiast who immediately starts cranking more torque and horsepower into his or her late model 4.6L/5.4L engine, engineers at TCI® have developed two new high performance machined flexplates. Even in stock applications the factory flexplates behind these engines can be problematic with issues of cracking and breaking; so replacing them with a CNC-machined flexplate from TCI® is a good idea.

Engineered to prevent cracking and ring gear breakage commonly found in lesser quality flexplates, this new design includes an integrated GM torque converter pattern that gives the option of using a GM transmission with the Ford Modular 4.6L/5.4L engine. In addition, the blanchard-ground A514 steel plate is .140" thick, which is .045" thicker than the original factory piece, and is therefore much stronger and more reliable. And most importantly, these performance flexplates have been tested and are SFI 29.1 approved for strength and durability.

Dynamically balanced with factory size bolt holes, each flexplate is electro-coated for protection from damaging elements and vibrations. They also feature a heavier-duty ring gear for even more strength. Available for both 6- and 8-bolt crankshafts.
