Default TCI Powerglide Shield
Hi,
I have just purchased a TCI Trans Shield to suit a Powerglide, i have just sat it on my spare glide casing to see how it fits, i just want to confirm if the right hand side of the shield is sitting correctly. The left side is easy as it bolts to the servo cover, i cannot get that wrong, that side the shield is also proud of the pan rail so the lower bracket will fit nice.

But over on the rhs, the shield appears to be possibly sitting to high and is also sitting inside the edge of the pan rail, from what i can see i will need to space the lower bracket out from the shield to stop it bending as it would pull in against the pan rail.

I have also attached a picture of how it is currently sitting, does the shield need to pulled away from the tranny and down lower, or do i have it right now ?

Thanks
Matt
