Default TCU 4l60e
Three different times I have started to drive my car and it would not shift. The TCU gauges would say that it was shifting, but the transmission was not shifting. It seemed to be in first and would stay there. I was on the dyno 2 of the times and once just starting to drive for tuning. After fooling around with the TCU progam for a while, it would start to work correctly One time yesterday before it started working, the TCU speedo gauge started fluctuating all over the place and was sometimes reporting speed while the tires were not rolling. I check the connections where I had the TOSS wired in and it seemed okay. After checking the wires, the speedo started reporting correctly and the tranny started shifting correctly. Other times, I'm not sure anything I did specifically caused it to start shifting. I'm getting the car back from the tuner today and don't know what to expect when I start to drive it home.

I have the red TCU box on a 2001 Z06 converted to a a4 4l60e from a 2002 Corvette.

This last time it would not shift automatically, I pulled the program from the TCU and all the part throttle tables were maxed out to 255 mph. The WOT tables were all set to 5500 rpms. Could this have happed when the main pcm was disconnected? Is there a time when the TCU reverts to some default program? It shifted fine in the manual mode......

Ronnie,
The random not shifting issue sounds like a loose conection on the main harness or toss and the trans goes into to limp mode. As for the call file being messed up we are sending the same call file we sent you be for. Please load that up and check for secure conections on everything.
