i have a 355 chev, had the ez efi on for about 5 months, has been working fairly well, but has popped up through the throttle body a few times. I took the fuel pump out to check and clean the screen. when i was done I fired it up, pulled it outside to warm it up. I was going to do a reset on the efi and the 1st thing i noticed on the setup screen that the cubic inch was around 550, it has always been at my initial 355 setting, all the other settings were normal, i reset it to 355, and proceeded. when i got to the engine start screen the coolant temp read 255, my gauge was 160. i tried to start it but only would start with the throttle pushed and then it beltched a huge cloud of smoke. couldn't keep it running. i checked the data and both cts and ats were at 255. I check the cicuit for 5 v ref and it is good, the return volts when plugged in is around 2.98 for both and the resistance for both are around 3200. i checked the wires for opens or shorts and are ok. i checked codes and there was 1 for the O2. erased it and it comes back on after 30 seconds, engine not running. I have the pos and neg wires to the battery.
