Default Th350 Lossing gears
I just finshed installing a Reverse manual valvebody with engine braking from tci. The trans shifted prefect.. But, after runnning for a small period of time like 8-10 minutes I loss all gears foward and reverse. I can shift threw all the gears all day long and no movement. If I shut down the engine for like 20 seconds anf fire it back up it moves again. I checked fluid level over and over again thinking it was running out of fluid and loosing prime but alway full.. It worked perfect before the install. Could the PR valve be sticking open causing this than it closes when I shut it off? Or is there something else I can check before I yank it and put a pump in it.

Also I have a temperature guage on it and its not hot. At most 110 degrees in that time.

Thanks

Did you rebuild the transmission as well? If not, it could possibly be the PR valve sticking. It could also be a gasket issue since it works then stops after it warms up.

Trans was rebuilt. I put about 500miles on it before I installed the valve body. I did not have a issue untill now. I will check the PR valve tonight..

Thanks
