TH400 full manual kit question

Have a quick question for anyone that can help.
I am fitting the TC 221100 Turbo 400 Full Manual Valve body to my transmission & have a question.
Are the check balls that are originally under the separator plate reused?

The instructions only mention the placement of the 2 check balls included in the kit & don't say whether you need to put the other check balls back in place?

I'm sure this has been asked before or maybe it's just obvious to others but I can't find any info. Any help is appreciated
