Default TH400 input shaft
I'm thinking about up-dating my forward clutch, by replacing the 6-clutch drum with an 8 clutch drum. My question is, is the input shaft removable from the drum?? I see there are drums without the shaft (pictured).

Bill,
We do not have a drum to use 8 clutchs. We use 6 clutch in our pro-x transmissions that we run up to about 3000hp and the work fine. As for the Input shaft and drum fron the factory you have to press them apart and our aftermarket one has to be pressed apart as we after the clip that we install is removed. What is the power level and set up you need a trans built for?

Thanks

Russ

Bill,
I forgot one thing our drum and input shaft have to be used together you can not swap one for its factory counter parts.

Thanks
