Memphis, TN – This latest Technology Explained Video gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the revolutionary 4-Pattern Camshafts from COMP Cams.

COMP Cams 4-Pattern Camshafts are hydraulic rollers designed to optimize valve events based on runner length. They feature four different lobe patterns and provide a large increase in both area under the curve and stability at high RPM. This technology has been used in NASCAR for years, but it is making its first appearance in street/strip and grassroots racing applications. The latest COMP Cams Technology Explained Video features Power Automedia’s Paul Huizenga and Mike Magda providing both an overview of how the four-pattern technology works, and a look at COMP engineering techniques.

COMP Cams Valve Train Engineering Group Leader, Billy Godbold, also provides his insight and describes the cam development process in great detail. All videos from COMP Cams and the rest of the COMP Performance Group™ family are available at www.cpgnationtv.com.
