    I have the 301436 kit
This is the larger collar of the 2 kits offered. I can not get it onto any of the yokes on the 4 rears I have !! All are ford 9 inch rears
I really don't want to machine the yoke as this will surely weaken the yoke
    Help please
    Thanks Russ

I am out of town now, so I can't check mine.

I have a Ford 9" and the fast collar fit. Can't remember the size....I checked my yoke with a caliper and ordered that size. Maybe 1.875"?

They also have 4 and 8 magnet collars on other sites.

I definitely would not machine anything for what should be bolt on.

There is something like 10 different yoke sizes, the two you talked about are the most common and what FAST sells. You may have to buy another collar from RacePak, Strange or Mark Williams to get the correct size. Measure it with some dial calipers right in front of the lip seal and see what size you need. If you can get a 8 magnet collar it works better.

Thanks. I was thinking about chucking the collar up in the lathe and opening it up a bit
If I get the 8 magnet collar I assume I can change the program for the new pulse rate ?

Yes. The software will allow that and it's a good idea to gain resolution.

Just so I don't buy something I don't need, does anyone have a picture of a collar installed ? I was trying to fit mine in front (drive shaft side) of the flat plate that shields the pinion seal
    Thanks Russ

No it has to go on the yoke side of the rear end just before the lip seal. The front will move around too much.

I mounted mine at the end of my GearVendors because of a collar size problem on the rear and have seen no problem from the movement. You can see the amount of movement from the wear pattern on the driveshaft yoke. This is on a street/strip car with a ladder bar suspension. I use the driveshaft sensor for a speedometer with the FAST dash.

Thanks I will look to see if I have room up front but I am guessing that I have too big of a collar for my drive shaft front yoke

    Thanks Russ

    Rate Sensor under Sensor Calibration.
Then under HELP/INDEX, read section 6.8 Rate Sensor Calibration

    6.8.1 Driveshaft RPM Calib. (600/PPR)
Divide 600 by the number of pulses per revolution of the drive shaft and enter the result here.
