I have a popping noise at idle coming from what sounds like the back of my air valve. The idle is erratic and the popping is spontaneous. No errors on the F9 screen. Would my IAC motor be making this noise? If so, is there a way to test it? When the car is running, my IAC target is 16 but the IAC status is all over the place. Thanks again.

Ok, checked my IAC sensor/motor and it's good. I'm still hearing a popping noise coming from the throttle body. Going to pull it off the intake and see what the deal is. Anything I should test for before I yank this sucker?

Any chance you have a bad intake valve? Compression check is easy to run. Plugs, wires, cap and rotor all ok?

Man I hope not. Everything on this motor is new. Thanks for the advice on the compression check. Gonna run one asap.
