Ignition Parameters. Check the fixed timing test advance and match that number with the timing light.

    Hello Richard
Thank you for your prompt reply
Sorry for the weird questions but I'm not a tech guy
the question is for me then if the timing light then me must show the number as in the fixed timing test advance entered? that's 20 with me as you registered it then.
And do I have to activate the check for fixed timing test advance?
    many thanks
    Martin

Move the distributor until the numbers match, lock down the distributor, uncheck the box.... done....

I think I'm correct that you can also change the commanded fixed timing number to match the timing light to achieve the same result if just a few degrees difference so far as the ecu is concerned. PLEASE correct me if that is not correct Richard.

You can, by changing the Crankshaft Reference Angle in the software, but only if it's close to begin with.

    Thanks for the answer
    Has worked great
    Car is running and learning
The next day we drove out a few kilometers at once and did not jump.
    Ignition is ok
I'm going to measure the cables through to the fuel injectors.
