Default Timing Advance with a 268H in SBC
Hi here I have a 283 SBC now with a comp cams 12-210-2 (268H) and i want to know wich is the recomended timing advance curve (centrifugal and vacuum - advance). It is with a Edelbrock performer manifold and 4 barrel edelbrock carb...

Comp really doesn't have a recommended setting for the advance. That will all depend on how quickly you want the timing advance to come in. I personally run the heaviest springs so the distributor will be fully advanced at the latest point in the range, but that is just a personal preference. I do not normally use vacuum advance, so I really can't help you there.
