Default Timing question ?
The guys over at msd want me to find out what total timing comp reccomends for the cam i have and what rpm i need it by. My setup is a sbc 400 and only turns about 5500. Its in a 90 k5 blazer. My cam # 12-210-2 grind # cs 268h-10.

First off the camshaft does not dictate ignition timing. That is highly dependant on many other factors and should be tune in to whatever the engine runs its best at. I would start around 12 degrees initial and around 32-34 total advance. From there you will just need to tune to whatever the engine runs its best at. Total advance should be in by 3000RPM.
