Default torque converter shred
I have a 66 Elcamino with a GM performance zz502/502 crate motor with tune port fuel injection. my torgue converter was shreded I realize it may be hard to say with out inspecting it what caueed this but can you give me a best guese so that I can hopefully not do it again, it is a TCI prepped transmission I believe it had 2000 rpm stall converter (not positive).
I'm no expert by any means but through my inspection I havent found any thing internaly wrong with the transmission, i'm not through checking it out just woondering if the torque converter was just not up to the 502 CID engine or if there may be something wrong that I haven't dicovered yet.
appreciate any help.

What is "shredded"? I need a better description of what has happened to find a problem... Also what part numbers are you refering to? 2000 stall could be a couple of converters, neither of which I would put behind a 502.
