Default Valve Spring retainers and locks.
I am installing Comp springs #919-16 into my Dart Pro heads on my sbc. The cam is a .580 lift solid roller. I will be setting the rev at 7000rpm. What should I be using for locks and retainers? And at what point should I be considering using titanium retainers and locks?

You will need to use the 741-16 retainers with 611-16 locks (this is assuming you have a 11/32 single groove valve stems). As far as titanium retainers go you will typically look at using these in a higher rpm range and/or when dealing with a heavy valve train setup.
