Default water in red xfi box....symptoms now caused from that?
ok i have some big problems i just ran into with my buick GN. first the history of the water problem and the box. i got stuck in a big rain storm with the car and there was a leak at the window right above wehre the box mounts and it got filled with water and would not run, misfired when it did and lost crank signal among other things till i figured it was filled with water. i took the box out and drained it of the water and used rubbing alcohol to clean it and heated the box and let it dry. fast forward to this year and i washed the car for the first time in a long time as the car does not see rain or washed oftern just waxed. well the car bugs out and the xfi box filled iwth water and had all kinds of problems. one of the injector lights was not flashing as it was running it was just on solid. i took the box out and did everyting again to dry it out and clean it. installed it and started the car and it ran fine. today i took it out for a ride and a couple short blasts and all was fine. i came back and parked the car to do other things. 20min i went ot start it up and it was not starting then sounded like it had locked up. i tried again and it did it again but not as bad. i tried one more and she started up but was misfiring and blowing smoke out the tailipipe. i revved it up a little and she cleared out and was not smoking and just had a slight misfire. shut her down again and checked under the hood ot make sure all was good and started it up again this time it was mising even worse and was blowing tons of smoke out and smelled of raw fuel. i shut it down and took all the spark plugs out and found the number 6 cylinder plug to be covered in fuel. with all the plugs out i cranked the motor over ot clean out the clinder and fuel kept shooting out of the umb er 6 cylinder and would not stop. i unplugged the injector connector and did it again and the fuel cleaned out and stopped pouring out. i swapped injectors thinking it was that and tried again and it still was shooting out loads of fuel when cranking. i then noticed the fule kept pouring out of the cylinder with the key on after i cranked it like the injecotr was staying open. i shut the car off hten turned just hte key on and looked at the cylinder it was dry, i plugged the injector in and still was not running out. i then tried to crank it and poof the fuel started coming out and would not stop till i turned the key off. i also noticed that with the key just on there is one injector like on the box lit up bright. im guessing the problem is in the box and i shorted something but i want some opinions. also can i just send it back to get checked and fixed? my bigest concern is i hope i did not bend a rod in all this or brake one. thanks for any help on this and any questions i can answer to explain this better.
