You will need to check it with a volt meter to see which wire has a 0-5 volt output. It should read about 0 volts at 0 throttle and about 5 volts at full throttle. Since this vehicle is drive by wire you will either have to go off the TPS sensor by the pedal or turn the throttle blade manually to get the reading.

amick,
you are talking of the nitrous manegment unit? i am referring to the window traction controller that is linked in with the RPM's and i have been told to tap in near the ECU on the 8th cylinde, to get its reading off that. i am not sure where that is. thanks for your help.
Billy I am sorry I misunderstood what you were looking for. You can pick up the RPM signal off of the negative side of a coil or injector. There is a tach signal wire that goes to the PCM but I do not know which wire that is on this specific vehicle. Most people just run the switch off the negative side of the injector which is what we generally recommend.
