Default wiring harness
I just got the tci/fast transmission controller and wiring harness for the 4l60e. Is there an instructional page that explains the functions of all the wires. I know I don't need them all but I would like to take advantage of those that are relevant for operations. I am installing this on a 2001 Z06 that I have converted to an automatic. Thanks.

Default TCU Wiring info
Open your T-Com software, then open the help file. Section 2.0 is named "Wiring Harness Guidelines". The information you are looking for should be there. If you do not find the asnwer you are looking for, please post with the specific information you are looking for.

Which box do you have? Gen I or Gen II? Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding your TCU.

Nothing comes up when you click on "Help" I was mainly looking for the "manual" and the a/b hookups. It would be nice to know what the other wires that I'm not using are also. Dyno comes to mind but I know there are other single wires that I can't remember right now. I'll have to look when I get back in the garage. My wireless don't work out there.

If you follow the TCU Operation Manual it will give you a list of recommended procedures.

The undetermined wires such as dyno, cal A/B, or cancel TCC can all be hooked to toggle or momentary switch to be activated. If you look under "TCU Setup" with a cal file open, and then look at your "Mode Input Setup" you will see what each wire has to see to be activated. Out of the box they all should be set to 12V and Toggle (except for upshift and downshift).

When hooking up your RPM wire, you will want to use the orange/black striped wire, and hook it up to a tach output wire from the ECU. If this is being picked up off a crank trigger, you must make sure that you are setting up the tach to read a "Magnetic Sensor", and not "Standard Tach".

When hooking up TPS on an LS series motor you must only use the signal wire from the TCU's harness, and the existing ECU's harness. Use pin B (yellow/black striped wire) off of the TCU's harness and mate it to the signal wire for TPS from the ECU.

Please call me at 888 776-9824 ext. 366 if you have any more questions.

Thanks
