Default Wiring harness 4L80e
Got the wiring harness for 4l80e (#377502), 2nd gen TCU (#377500), Remote TPS (#377401) and Speedo Control Unit (#377300). Im retrofitting into a 67 chevelle w/ MSD 6AL and autometer tach.

Please advise where wires/connectors needs to go.
Connectors:
- MAP: Is this to connect the laptop to the TCU?
- RPM: Connector has two wires. Black/white stiped is ground? (is this needed??) Understand orange/black stiped is tach signal.

Out of the box they all should be set to 12V and Toggle (except for upshift and downshift).
Wires:
- Cal A/B: Is this to switch between calibration A and B or in the T-Com™ WP User Guide described as economy/performance setting?
- Speed out: Connects to the Speed Control Units signal wire?
- Cancel O/D: Can this be hooked to brakelight?
- Dyno: What is this for???
- Brake light: Hooks to brakelight?

Thanks

The MAP is an option if you have a factory EFI system.

As per the instructions, the black/white wire is RPM Ground.
Below is a link to the software/instruction file that you can download just in case you don't have it. It should be able to help guide you thru the remainder of the install.

The techs can correct me if I'm wrong but if you're using a TPS like I am the brake and cancel OD wires go unused. MAP is manifold absolute pressure, again, unused unless you have EFI. You have the tach signal right, go straight off the ignition system for that. I tapped mine at my HEI. Speed out is for an electronic speedometer but I never got mine to work. I ended up going with a GPS based speedometer from speedhut.com. YMMV on that one.
