Default WOT will not activate everytime
I have the ZEX custom system for the 2009 Dodge Challenger. I have had to "relearn" the controller 3 times already. At WOT nothing happens. I pull back in, pull everything apart and go through the learn process again, put everything back together and try the gas only side (bottle off). At WOT with the extra fuel, the car should stumble due to the over rich condition, nothing changes in RPM or feel. I double checked all connections and checked that the solenoid is opening at WOT (car in neutral and friend mashs the gas) I hear the solenoid click, so I assume that it is opening and extra fuel is spraying into the intake, right? This is my first nitrous system and I am worried that I'll spray only nitrous and no fuel. I do not want to damage my motor. Sure could use some help here. Oh, I installed the 125HP jets and verified they were correct. Glad I saved that magnifing glass.
How much fuel will actually flow with this system when activated?

Default I was hoping for help from ZEX on this issue
Hello? ZEX? Anyone? My ZEX 82332 unit will not function at WOT more than once. Is this a known problem and being worked on? Or, must I re teach the system each and evey time before use? I followed your barely adequate directions to the letter and am not pleased with the results.

I am a little confused and just want to clarify what the issue is. You say nothing happens at full throttle. By this do you mean that you do not feel the stumble at full throttle or that the kit does not spray at all at full throttle? Also when you are checking this and having your friend push the gas is the car running or turned off?

After initially teaching the controller WOT, and verifing that the solenoid "clicks", I test drive the car with the nitrous bottle off. When the activation button is turned on and the gas peddle is pushed to the floor (3rd or 4th gear at speed) there is no indication that fuel is being sprayed into the intake. There is no stumble indicating excessive fuel being introduced into the intake. Upon returning to the driveway, with car in neutral, I have friend floor the gas while I listen for the solenoid function... nothing. So, I pull the CAI off again and "teach" the controller again, WOT again, and repeat the process. I did this 3 times over the weekend. So... I am worried that when I activate the system at the track with the nitrous on, that I will not receive the benefit of the nitrous system during the run. I am going to take my car to a local dyno tuner tonight and hope he can figure out why this system does not work as advertised. And yes, I followed the instructions contained with the kit exactly as written, or as implied, since the instructions are barely adequate and gloss over many install steps.

Then it does not sound like there is really an issue at all bud. You will not typically get a stumble from spraying only the fuel and no nitrous. If you want to see if it is spraying fuel simply pull the nozzle out and spray the kit with the bottle closed. You should see a small amount of fuel drizzle out but that is it. As long as you see a small amount come out then the kit is working just fine.

I wanted to post an update and close this issue. I had my car dyno tuned for the 125 shot this evening. Everything worked as expected. The tuner said that the ZEX system had the smoothest hit he had ever felt.
Final numbers showed a RWHP gain of 68.3hp and 158.7ft/lbs of torque. This was with the 125 shot. It appears that the ZEX system is overly optimistic with shot size while actual increases are MUCH lower than advertised. I'm sure that this helps keep any negitive customer issues low as no engines are damaged. I was just hoping for a bit more, that's all. Since the 125 shot gave me nearly 70 I am thinking about trying the 150 shot and see if it gives me an extra 10 or 15HP. Final numbers on my 6 speed manual SRT8 Challenger..... 482.7 RWHP @ 5500rpm and 584.4 ft/lbs torque @ 3200rpm. My base line was 414.4@6000rpm and 425.7 ft/lbs@ 4650 rpm

Only problem now is there seems to be liquid gas in my cold air intake tube. I actually poured out an ounce or so after returning home from the dyno. Is this normal? Or do I have a serious problem?
