Default zex box nmu
I have a zex NMU it is for a dry kit. The box does not have the led light from the factory or the button you need to push for it to learn the TPS.
How do i know if the NMU has learned the TPS for activation? What is the procedure for this unit?

Why does my box not have the led or Push button from the factory?

I am amazed that noone is helping you on this
If your box doesn't have the LED or Button, it isn't the NMU. It doesn't have the active electronics inside, you just have the solenoids built into it and will need to activate it with a WOT switch or the standalone programmable TPS switch.

The box you have is the original style NMU and does not come with the LED lights or the push button on the side. We have not made that style for several years. It has no program procedure like the newer version. It is setup to activate when it sees a voltage of 4.05 volts. Once it sees this voltage it will automatically activate the solenoid. You still use the white wire coming from the NMU to go to the TPS switch but it does not look for a voltage sweep like the new one. It will only activate when it sees the full 4.05 volts or better. You can test it with the bottle turned off, the arm switch on, and the key in the on position. Simply push the peddle at that point and listen for the solenoid to click. Also I would like to apologize for the late response its simply very busy around here and I have not had a chance to check on the forum questions much latley. You can always reach us through the e-mail on the website or on the Tech Line (800-999-0853) as well. If you need any further assistance I would be more than happy to help you out.

Thank You

I installed the kit and it did not activate the selinod.@WOT I will now have to check that my TPS has the required 4.05v output.
