Hi guys, ive got an issue with my kit, im told its the NMU, basicalyl the purge valve works fine and the bottle pressure is fine, the NMU powers up and ive even re-calibrated it, but it wont open the soleniods even when its at wide open throttle and the green lgiht is on.
How much line pressure do you have when this happens? Also have you checked to make sure if it sprays fuel and no nitrous or if it sprays neither one? Also have you checked the wire your on for the TPS signal to see if it has a voltage sweep?

Hi Aaron - thanks for your reply, the line pressure is good - i have 2 gauges in line and both are ok, and it purges ok, the issue is the NMU doesent open the soleniod, i.e. no click when the NMU is activated. i may try and re-program it one more time, but it wont help i dont think....................
Joe the reason I asked about line pressure was that if it is to high it can prevent the solenoid from opening. Can you tell me what the pressure was reading? Also you will want to check TPS signal to insure that you are getting a voltage sweep. If the system does not see a sweep it will not open the solenoids. Check your grounds to insure they are good and not ground in the same place as others. Also did you check to see if it was spraying fuel and no nitrous or is it not spraying either one?

You need to put a volt meter on the TPS wire that you have the white wire from the NMU run too to see if it is sweeping from roughly 0-5volts. It should be about 0 volts off the throttle and about 5 volts with the throttle depressed.
