Default zex perimeter plate electrical issues
after re-installing my perimeter plate kit after new engine swap, and testing everything to make sure it worked properly i seem to have some electrical gremlins somewhere. when i turn my arming switch on i hear a click at the solenoids, then when i engauge the micro switch, both solenoids engage like there suppose to, but the nitrous solenoid gets so hot that you cant even hold it, the gas solenoid just gets real warm. i know this has never been like this in the past, and i dont remember the solenoids clicking when you tutn the arming switch on. something is definately wrong. could it be that the relay has gone bad ? i have double checked the wiring diagram per the instructions that came with the kit and everything is correct. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks, ac

The solenoid sounds like it is getting constant power once the arm switch is on. It sounds like the relay has gone bad to me. The solenoid will get very warm if activated for long periods.

Double check your wiring by comparing it to the wiring schematic in the installation manual. I am guessing you have the relay wired incorrectly.
