Zex sparkplugs to fit my motorcycle.
I won a 1998 Honda Shadow 750CD2 American Classic Edition (ACE) and I am gathering together all the items that I need for a serious boost in power. One of the things that I want to do is replace the sparkplugs with something much better than factory stock. The plugs that I wish to run are Zex plugs. I find that the insulated center electrode should give plenty of protection, and that the three prong design would give all the advantages of a certain brand of plug, that begins with the letter B and is, in my opinion, way overrated. What I need to know is whether any of the plugs Zex offers will fit my Shadow engine. It is a V-twin engine with duel plug heads.
This is what is recommended for my bike from either Denso or NGK:
Standard: DPR8EA-9(NGK) or X24EPR-U9(DENSO)
Cold Climate (below 5°C, 41°F): DPR7EA-9 or X22EPR-U9
Extended High Speed Riding: DPR9EA-9 or X27EPR-U9
