RHS Helps Set IRS Gen V Camaro Record

Nick Fillipides, owner/operator of Deer Park, New York’s American Racing Headers, recently set the Independent Rear Suspension Gen V Camaro quarter-mile record during the LSX Shootout at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis. Nick and team won the title with an 8.39 second pass, and also recently topped the 164 mph mark at a separate event.

The Camaro utilizes an RHS LS Aluminum Race Block, a FASTXFI 2.0Fuel Injection System, COMP Cams valve train components and other go-fast goodies. The team is hoping to run very low 8s in the NMCA LSX Real Street Class next year where they will run the entire season schedule.
